I have this phone and I absolutely love it! Unfortunately, like pretty much every other cell phone on the market today it does have it’s quirks, but luckily the good outweighs the bad with this one. If you’re in the market for a "blade" the things I think you should know are:
- The bluetooth capabilities of this phone pretty much suck when it comes to headsets. I tested 3 different bluetooth headsets before settling on the Motorola H700. It does work the best, but I still can’t get very far away from my phone or else I get a bunch of static. Transferring files via bluetooth however worked flawlessly for me.
- The battery life isn’t great. Especially if you use bluetooth, java apps or surf the net. I recommend having a charger at work and in your car just in case. The iGo charger is awesome because you can use it for more than one device.
Other than that, I have to say it’s a sleek, lightweight phone with tons of features and I wouldn’t trade it for anything on the market today. Right now I believe you can get it free after rebate, see the info below:

You can get paid to switch your cellular service???!!!
Yes, you can! Both Sprint & Cingular are paying you to switch to their cellular service! You can get paid up to $100 to switch..what a great deal!
Hey, this deal has been extended…all I know is that it is a limited time offer, so if you are in the market for a cell phone and/or want to switch to either Sprint or Cingular, now’s the time.
Thanks to Info-girl for the heads up on this one!

A while back I tried the Motorola HS850 headset and it seemed adequate for my needs. Now everything has changed since I tried the Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset.
This headset is so much smaller and lighter, it is clearer and gets much better reception than the HS850. Pairing with my Samsung A900 was simple and connecting each time I want to use the headset is a breeze, I just turn on the bluetooth on my phone, open the headset and I’m good to go.
I’ve been told there was an echo when using the HS850, but with the H700 my friends have commented that they didn’t even know I was using a headset, it’s that clear. The only problem I ever have is a bit of static occasionally if I put my phone in my pocket or move too far away from it. I honestly think that is a problem with the less than ideal bluetooth in the Samsung A900 than it does with the headset.
The price on this headset is dropping, so if you’re looking for a good performing bluetooth headset, pick this one up while it lasts. Click on the photo or link above to check out the prices at Amazon.com or search for the best deals using the search box below:
